I was doing some research on
women’s health and found a great website at netdoctor.co.uk that had a lot of information on women’s hormones. Hormones pay an important part of a women’s life even as an infant. Shortly after the early stages of being an infant then the
hormones are naturally suppressed until they reach puberty. At puberty they come out in full force. Parts of the brain send hormones to tell the ovaries to start to produce hormones which then cause normal body developments and menstruation cycles to begin. There are arrays of hormones such as LH, FSH, oestrogen and progesterone from that point on that regulate a women’s menstruation cycle until she reaches menopause. Even during pregnancy the hormones play a very important role. Once you become pregnant a women’s placenta produces a hormone called HCG which is the same hormone as the
seattle hcg uses for weight control and diet. HCG is what some pregnancy test use to detect if you are pregnant. Even in the menopause hormones play a very important role. They are responsible for a lot of the symptoms such as hot flashes and some of the imbalances women experience at that time. Hormones affect women’s health in many different ways you would not expect.
